in thanks/temptation?- i share this TARTY lounge chanteuse ukuleleuse shot Justin Moore (unoffic’ offic’ army of toys photographeur and friend extraordinaire!) took of me last thurs. at church of boston, our ship of fools april fool’s bill. i was trying out my flippity flapper flower child petalface, and i had no idea this candid (that alas reveals my uber uke cheat sheet i’m now wean’d from, i swear!) could turn out into such a vintage vivant pinup pose that would make -me- a little jealous of my own life for a sec. one of those moments where an image captures so much zeitgeist it makes your heart ache. and then you realize it’s a mere mirror fragment of your own real life. it’s hard to believe it’s me. i don’t pretend to get used to the kindness of reader-strangers and rock venue audiences. i am so blessed in all my followers/readers of this random rowdy raunchy randy candy-coated collection of my poetry aussi, so thank you, justin, my band, you tumblrs and twittering twatters. this is a directory-beggarly and thankyou post of vanity and gratitude.
